Our Magic Middle Becomes a Teen

We officially have three teens!  Josh had a great birthday filled with delicious food, family and friends--all of Josh's favorites!  We gave Josh his first iPhone, at looooong last!  He's been telling us he's pretty sure he's the last kid on earth to get a smartphone (fake news, not a fact).  At first we teased him by wrapping up an iPhone-printed notepad in an iPhone box and told him we had changed our minds about getting him a phone this year...haha!  But he was so excited to open the real thing.  Oye!  What have we gotten ourselves into???  I was happy to see how excited he was about the Magnus Chase boo, too, so that gives me hope.  Although it was a family party year for Josh, one of his friends, Katelyn, just happened to invite Josh and a few of the kids from their group of friends over to hang out for the evening, so he basically had a party with friends anyway--lucky kid.  We celebrated Josh as a family a few days later with a jump at Sky Zone.  Happy 13th, Joshie!  You are adored!
