Thanksgiving Week with The McKenzie Fam

What am I most thankful for every. single. year?  Time with family (including framily - the friends we choose as family)!  We've had a lot of it this year, here in Colorado, in London and France, in California and in Washington.  Family time is absolutely the best time!  Reflecting on the joy and sweetness of all our 2018 together time, as well as my constant awareness of the together time we will miss next year as Zac moves on into the start of his adult life, only serves to increase my gratitude for what we have had and makes all the more precious that which will come.

On the subject of together time and gratitude, we were so grateful to spend Thanksgiving week together with Leah, Isla, Kai and my parents.  Down time with my guys is awesome.  I love being with my mom, dad and sister.  I enjoy hanging with the babies and seeing the cousins interact.  It was all so good!

Isla was Tommy's shadow, until she discovered the fun of Zac.  All the boys were so sweet with Kai, always striving to bring him happiness.  It was a week of togetherness: movies (Nutcracker and the Four Realms and Crimes of Grindelwald), talking, eating, laughing, cooking, eating, shopping, Netflix Christmas movies, finding our Hogwarts houses, eating, and so much playing with cousins!  We spent a wonderful holiday week that only reminded me of all that I am most grateful for.  A truly happy Thanksgiving!
