At the end of June, Ben, Josh, Luke, Tom and I joined some friends--and more of their friends--for a little crawdad fishing and exploring at Castlewood Canyon, a Colorado State Park up by Castle Rock. It took us awhile to find the right entrance to the park because we accidentally took some dirt-road-Bat-Entrance into one part of it, when we actually needed to be at a completely different part of it (GPS fail!), but we were so glad we persisted in finding our group because it was really cool!
The crawdads were plentiful and fun to find--and pinched really hard. Tommy: "Look what I found.... Ow! Quick, take the picture, Mommy! It's pinching!" And we had a great time spending the afternoon with our friends. Definitely a park we will be exploring further!
