Ahhhhhhhh.... Two days in the desert. It's one of our happy places, for sure! Grandma and Grandpa met back up with us there for a couple of relaxing days by the pool. It was really nice to end the trip with some days of chill after such a busy start. My mom, who was coming down to spend Kai's spring break with the Lewises, drove into town, and we were able to spend one of our desert days with her, as well--with a quick "hi-bye" from my dad who had a conference in Arizona. The evening of our first day there was a wild wind storm with some impressive gusts (it seems that we can't get away from the darn wind!), but the storm came in in the evening, and had blown itself out by morning, so no big deal. Well, no big deal other than that I had to catch the patio table glass top before it blew off the patio with my Herculean strength and Flash-like reflexes (or I was just in the right place at the right time).
Enough typing. The pictures speak for themselves.
We loved it all! Disney, beach and desert: and best of all FAMILY. A perfect Spring Break. Can't we just go back? Now? No. I mean it. Really. Now.
