The boys had such a good time playing together for five days, especially Max, Jake, Luke and Tommy, and especially-especially Jake and Tommy. They were like two peas in a pod!
We spent a couple of the days at home, just hanging out and letting the boys be together while Jen helped me with little projects around the house. But we also got out and moving. We took all the kids on the beautiful Seven Bridges Trail hike, Jen and I took on The Incline (her sea-level-lungs suggestion, not mine!) and destroyed it, and we spent a long morning at City Rock, letting the monkeys climb. And played and talked and talked and played.
It was wonderful to have the Shevitzes here during the summer months, when there is so much to do and it's actually GREEN, although we missed Hannah and Dave. Because they've always come in the mid-spring, Jen said she had never seen Colorado green other than in photos, so it was good to show her that it's not just a trick of Photoshop-- we actually do get green out here. So much fun to have our framily at our home! Come anytime, dear ones!
