My parents flew in with one day to spare before departing Denver for Orlando with our sweet Josh for his special 8-year-old trip. In between the busyness of a late-spring Saturday schedule, we packed in a pre-Mother's Day pedicure for the mamas, a walk through the open space by our house, an early birthday dinner celebration for Luke's upcoming birthday at the Olive Garden, Skyfall from the Redbox and, just before their midday flight out, a Mother's Day breakfast in bed. I was so sad their visit was so short, but we couldn't be too stingy...it was Josh's turn for a Nana and Papa adventure and we wouldn't begrudge him that joy, even if we are all jealous...as we have been for Zac and Ben's trips too! My parents are just a few years from retirement, and I am looking forward to the longer visits that will allow. (And perhaps a condo somewhere close by so we can have them for the half of the year that the desert is too hot!)
