Picture of the Day: Two Things

Two amaryllis blooms sitting on my piano, bringing me happiness on these cold, brown January days.  Reminding me of the sweet friend I have in she who gave me the barely-sprouting bulb for my birthday who knows me well enough to realize I'd rejoice at a bit of life in the middle of winter's dead days.

Two baby-soft hands of my afternoon solo playmate who is only napping sporadically these days, taking away some of my "me" time, but giving me the sweetness of our alone time together.  Two hands that love to build, explore, create and play.

Two sets of toes warming up in the single ray of sunlight pouring through the window on the first "warmish" day that has followed some bone-chilling temperatures...but very little snow.  Boo.

A pair of baby blues, my favoritest; been gazing into these two brilliant, gentle, loving eyes for good long time and hope to be doing it for a good long time more!
